Better Weigh-In, and Thank You

Got a little love from the scale this morning. I weighed in at 204.4. I have five days to lose 4.6 pounds if I want to make my birthday goal of being under 200.

CAN SHE DO IT?

I don't know. But I'm going to try. Today was a good day, even though I had dinner out with some girlfriends. I had some soup, two scallops and a glass of wine. And peppermint tea. Just perfect.

We're supposed to get more snow tonight. Praying for a delay rather than another full snow day, or these kids will be in school till July. C'mon, Mother Nature, help a mommy out here.

Finally, and most importantly, thanks for all your great encouragement. I feel so much better when I hear that you've been there, or you think I'm doing just fine. It surprises me how much your support helps me, so thank you thank you. You are wonderful.

  1. Yeah Kristin!! You can do it.. (my little piece of advice, watch the sodium and do a cranberry and water flush).. it gives the scale a nudge.. Things will be fine, remember to just embrace all of the success you already have.. hugs and thanks for your sweet comments.

  3. Way to go! I agree, you have had so much success you should feel great. I hear you on the snow day. Two a week is just too much. Especially on a Friday.....I need my time to get things done before the weekend.

  9. Yep, five days to lose 4.6 pounds is enough time if you are all out committed to doing so.

    Go for it, don't crush yourself if you fall short, you've won already nomatter the numbers in five days.

  10. You can do it, but regardless of if you make it then or a few days later, you will be out of the 200s!!! that is HUGE!!! Also, on your last post..I can totally relate to the clothes...i am stuck in between but totally depends on what store, item, etc! Good luck and happy early birthday!!
